Meet Buddy!<br/><br/>Buddy is a handsome 3–4 year old basenji ( we think) mix weighing about 18 pounds, with a beautiful tan and white coat and a sweet, easygoing personality. While we can’t say for sure what breeds make up this adorable guy (maybe a little Boxer, Terrier, or even Basenji?), we do know he’s a wonderful companion.<br/><br/>Buddy is a well-mannered boy who enjoys the simple things in life. He loves playing fetch, exploring the yard, and finding the perfect sunny spot to curl up for a nap. He understands basic commands and appears to be house-trained, making him an easy addition to a lucky home.<br/><br/>He gets along well with other dogs and has a playful but gentle nature. Buddy would thrive in a home with a fenced yard or with someone who enjoys taking their dog on walks and adventures—maybe even trips to the dog park.<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s equal parts playful and relaxed, Buddy may be the perfect match for you.<br/><br/>Adoption $500<br/><br/>All UnderDogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm checked, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and heartworm/flea/tick preventatives. Please include a vet reference (including phone number) when applying online.<br/><br/>Our application process:<br/>FIRST, an application must be approved for adoption from our rescue.<br/>SECOND, we determine whether the dog that has been applied for is a "good match" for the household that wants to adopt him/her. We take into consideration the dog's activity level, compatibility with other members of the household (human and other pets), etc.<br/>If your application has been approved, but the dog you applied for is no longer available, please take the time and look over our adoptable dogs again.
