Buddy

Hi, I&#39;m Buddy! I&#39;m a big, handsome guy at about 80 pounds. My current friends think I&#39;m most likely a GSD/Malinois combo. I&#39;m not one of those crazy energy types but I do have energy to burn and will need regular walks, play, adventures and car rides, I love car rides. I walk fairly well on leash, but I do pull pretty hard at times, especially when I need to smell that perfect treeI&#39;m working on it!<br/><br/>I&#39;m a friendly boy but not overly with strangers. I like my people and if they say you are ok then I might say hello. I AM a GSD after all, right? I was fine at the vet, getting my ears cleaned and just a general check up. I admit, I would prefer a gentle but confident leadersomeone who can guide me firmly without being too harsh. I&#39;m a big, active boy but I am also kind of sensitive. <br/><br/>I get along well with neutral dogs and enjoy their company, but if another dog comes at me barking or with too much energy, I might react (I do stop when asked though). I&#39;m also a TOTAL squirrel fiendchasing them is my favorite sport! That said, I&#39;m definitely not a cat or small critter guy!<br/><br/>I&#39;m a smart boy and already know sit, down, shake, and wait (even though waiting is tough for me). I&#39;ll happily jump up on whatever you ask, I ride great in the car, and I mostly ignore people and other dogs when out walking. My recall still needs work, but don&#39;t worryI&#39;m not a runner.<br/><br/>What I really want is to bond deeply with my person or family. I&#39;ll be loyal and devoted, and the bestest boy. It&#39;s important that my new family helps me learn and likes to train smart dogs.
