Bud's Story

Bud is a three and a half-year old boy who is a gorgeous blue-black color. Bud was born on April 2, 2022, and weighs 78 pounds. Volunteers say he is a gentle and well-mannered dog, with a calm demeanor. They describe him as a “gentleman” who is “well loved” at the kennel.

Bud’s racing name was Insane Bud, but his personality is the opposite! He ran 42 races in the UK before retiring on April 29. He is okay with small dogs, although he has not yet been cat-tested. The kennel staff say he would be happy in a family home, and is laid-back and content.

We primarily adopt across the Midwest, including Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, Missouri, and surrounding states.
