**Located in New Hampshire**<br/><br/>Meet Buckley!<br/><br/>Buckley is a 4.5 month old Hound mix who currently weighs around 25 pounds. We expect him to be a bigger boy, likely somewhere around 60 pounds full grown. He is an incredibly happy, social, playful puppy who truly loves everyone he meets like dogs, adults, and kids included! He recently took a trip to Home Depot and was Mr. Social, happily making friends with staff and customers everywhere he went.<br/><br/>Buckley has a BIG list of favorite things: belly rubs, swimming, car rides, walks, toys, fetch, treats, wrestling with dogs three times his size, and snuggling up for a nap when he’s finally worn himself out. He loves playing fetch and will actually bring the toy right back so you can throw it again and again. He’s also a big fan of stealing socks, investigating the trash, unrolling toilet paper, and licking the dishes while the dishwasher is being loaded. In other words — he’s a puppy, and a very entertaining one at that!<br/><br/>For 4.5 months old, Buckley is doing fantastic with his training. He knows “sit,” is learning “off,” walks well on leash, and knows how to use a doggie door like a pro. He’s mostly potty trained with only an occasional accident. He sleeps peacefully through the night in his crate and will softly whimper or whine if he needs to go outside. He’s extremely food and treat motivated and will even run into his crate and sit or lie down while he waits for his food bowl.<br/><br/>Buckley can still be a little mouthy during play and needs to be redirected to an appropriate chew toy, but he’s learning! He loves chew bones and antlers and does well being loose in the home while his foster is there. He’s an active, adventurous boy who would love a family ready to include him in their lives, keep up with his training, and give him plenty of opportunities to play and explore.<br/><br/>At the end of the day, Buckley is just a fantastic puppy. He’s goofy, affectionate, confident, incredibly social, and always ready for his next adventure — but he’s just as happy curling up with you for some snuggles afterward.
