This little guy is as sweet as they come—affectionate, snuggly, silly, and full of love.<br/>Buckley bonds quickly with “his” person and absolutely thrives on being close. He adores cuddles, hugs, and sleeping tucked right up next to you (preferably under the covers—he’s an excellent little heater!). He’s incredibly gentle, with not a mean bone in his body.<br/>Despite being a senior, Buckley still has plenty of playful energy. His favorite toy is a plush marshmallow, and he proudly plays with it every night at dinnertime while he waits for his meal. He also loves to roll in the grass and soak up the simple joys of life.<br/><br/>Buckley would be happiest as an only dog, soaking up all the attention and affection he can get. He has a slight fear of cats, but instead of reacting, he simply moves away—he’s all peace, no drama.<br/><br/>He will need to be taught where the “outside” potty spot is in a new home, so he’ll need a patient adopter willing to help him get the routine down. He tries his best—he just may not be able to hold it at first.<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a gentle, loyal, affectionate companion who will keep your lap warm, your heart full, and your home filled with love, Buckley is your boy. Pure love.<br/><br/>Buckley is fixed, had a much needed dental, is up to date on vaccines, up to date on preventives and is microchipped. <br/><br/>IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING, PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS:<br/><br/>- The first step towards adoption is to complete an adoption application, which can be found online at our website www.roadtriprescues.com, under the “ADOPT” tab.<br/><br/>- Do not use the Petfinder links or email to ask us about our adoptable dog listings - we do not always receive these messages and will not respond to them.<br/><br/>- Please do not ask if a dog is still available - we do our best to update their status as quickly as possible.
