Buck's Story

Meet Buck!

Buck is a shepherd mix born in November 2025! He is an adventurous, playful, curious, snuggly, and cutie boy! He is working on his potty/crate training and doing well!

Buck is a super sweet mild mannered boy. He will chase a cat if the cat doesn't swat him, but then he is a cat's best friend! He has a really nice demeanor and would do well as an only dog or with another friendly dog in his furever home.

He is being fostered in Richmond, VA and is up to date on vaccinations and monthly preventatives. His adoption fee is $375 and covers the cost of age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, and his neuter when age-appropriate. He will require an owner committed to continued training and socialization. To apply to adopt Buck, visit www.beaglesandbentleys.org/adopt.

Spay/Neuter Disclosure:
Spay/Neuter will be scheduled when age-appropriate and is covered in the adoption fee. We require adopters to be within a reasonable distance of Richmond or Virginia Beach in order to complete spay/neuter with our approved clinics.

Note: Sending a Petfinder inquiry is not submitting an application. We require a completed adoption application to move forward with adoption.

Beagles and Bentleys has an across-the-board evaluative process that we apply to every application we review that prioritizes our animals in need. We conduct a vet reference check (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on dhpp/rabies and monthly preventatives) and a virtual home visit call where we discuss the adoption process and see your home.
