Bubby is a 6-year-old male Boxer mix who has already been neutered. He had a very sweet owner who, due to his owner's health issues and Bubby's energy levels, could no longer take care of him. Bubby has the classic brown coat with white markings of a Boxer; he is a good looking fellow. He weighs 45 pounds so he is considered to be a medium sized adult dog. Bubby is active, playful, and quite energetic. He would require a securely fenced yard where he could properly exercise. Bubby was a bit of an escape artist in his home. He would take a stroll down to Subway to see if he could meet new friends and possibly be given a treat. This illustrates just how friendly Bubby is! He never meets a stranger and he is good with other dogs and children. With the right home that matches Bubby's personality , we feel that containing him wouldn't be an issue. He's a very sweet boy who would make an excellent family dog. ****Bubby is in a foster home and not at the shelter. All pets will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a discount spay/neuter certificate to be used at participating vet clinics to help with the cost of spay/neuter. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
