He is a little bit wary of strangers on walks but once he gets to know people, he is a little love bug. He loves to curl up for a nap on his human’s lap or cuddle up for a movie – he might take a quick pause to play with his doggy friends but will promptly come back to his spot next to his human. Bubbles gets along well with other dogs in his house, but it fearful of strange dogs that he meets on walks. He will bark and kick his feet in protest when he sees another dog, but with some redirection can be called off back to his walk. Speaking of walks he is excellent on a leash, especially on a quiet morning when there are no dogs and strangers around. He is working on not getting distracted by other people and is responding well to redirection. Bubbles is very interested in chasing cats and squirrels, so kitty friends at home would not be a good match for him. Bubbles is crate trained and does well in his crate. He is okay being left at home if he is with his other doggy friends but gets a but anxious and barks when he is left completely alone. <br/><br/>Bubbles was recently diagnosed with heartworm and is currently receiving treatment. He is doing very well so far, and vets expect him to make a full recovery. He still has a few months left in his treatment program and a few vet checkups along the way. Once he is cleared, he will also be having some dental work done to fix a broken tooth. After he is done with his treatment and dental and given the all clear, he will be ready to be officially adopted! Bubbles is looking for a family that would like to foster him with the intention of adopting him once his vet gives the all clear. Bubbles is a very outgoing, caring and loving dog that would love nothing more than to curl up in a nice warm blanket next to his humans for a good cuddle!<br/><br/>***Woof..
