Bubba has quite a story. He was rescued after spending years tied to a tree, living outside with very little care. Today, Bubba knows the joys of indoor life-cozy snuggles with his foster family, belly rubs, regular meals, toys, and what it truly feels like to be loved. Despite his difficult past, Bubba is a very happy, affectionate boy who soaks up every bit of attention he can get.<br/>Bubba is playful, goofy, and incredibly loving. He enjoys toys and balls and lights up when it's time to play. When the fun winds down, he becomes a world-class snuggler who wants nothing more than to curl up next to his people while they watch TV, read, or relax. Bubba also enjoys car rides, though he can get a little excited at first-he may wiggle around, lick the windows, or investigate the armrests-but if someone sits with him, he settles nicely and enjoys the adventure.<br/>Bubba is still learning the finer points of indoor life, including house manners. He is very close to being fully potty trained, but he has a quirky habit of mistaking cozy "nestable" items like blankets, rugs, dog beds, or even the couch as potty spots if they're available. His foster family has found that when those items are picked up and he's supervised, he does very well. Consistency and management will be important as he continues learning these habits in his forever home.<br/>Health-wise, Bubba has a few manageable conditions. He has dry eye that requires daily drops, which he tolerates well-especially since he gets a treat afterward. He also has some skin allergies that are controlled with medication and weekly baths, which he actually seems to enjoy.<br/>Bubba is a strong boy who weighs about 60 pounds, though he seems convinced he's closer to 15. Because of his strength and enthusiasm, he would do best in a home without children, as he can easily knock them over when he gets excited. He can enjoy the company of other dogs but sometimes likes to think he's the boss. With clear guidance and confident leadership, he can do well with the right canine companion.<br/>Bubba didn't receive much love early in life, so now he embraces it with his whole heart. He is resilient, affectionate, playful, and ready for a fresh start with a family that understands his needs and is willing to give him the structure, patience, and love he deserves. In return, Bubba will offer endless loyalty, laughter, and slobbery kisses.
