Working in rescue will cause you to use all the emotions available to you, sadness, anger, defeat, happiness, satisfaction and the list goes on. I can tell you it is not for the faint of heart. Even the toughest among us will occasionally give into the emotions, you have to in order to stay sane. <br/><br/>Bubba is a Mastiff who was found too exhausted to run any longer, shaking from the cold, wet from the rain and starving. One of our wonderful volunteers dropped everything they were doing and rushed out to find Bubba and bring him into safety. We don't know his backstory, but it is likely he was dumped. <br/>This is what his foster mom had to say about him - <br/><br/>"Bubba is a super sweet and gentle soul who is discovering the joys of indoor life for seemingly the first time-and he is learning fast!<br/><br/>He is wonderfully calm and non-reactive, taking new sights and sounds in stride.<br/>Each day he opens up a little more, showing glimpses of his affectionate personality. With a bit of patience and lots of love, Bubba will blossom into the loyal, easygoing companion you've been looking for. If you are ready to help a deserving pup continue his journey, Bubba is ready to meet you!"<br/><br/>We have also been told he loves her teenage children and he is afraid of the cats she has.
