Bubba's Story

Bubba Gimp is such an impressive Rottie boi! He loves his humans and will protect them from every leaf, cat, goat, or anything else that may try to get them! Other than his humans, his favorite thing in life is tennis balls!!!! He LIVES for toys, but a good tennis ball takes the cake, and he will play with it for hours!! He is fully vaccinated, neutered, & house and crate trained; although in a new home, I would expect some accidents as he learns new routines.

This boy has been through so much in his 4yrs already, he needs a patient and understanding home to love him, keep him safe, and let him just be a good dog, which includes being patient and letting him get to know men in the home. He will take treats from men, but will then turn and try to nip that same hand that fed him for the first couple of days. He will overcome this distrust with time and lots of treats and positive reinforcement, so much so that currently his favorite human is his foster dad!

Bubba is a tri-pawd due to sustaining a gunshot injury after getting loose from his previous owner's yard, and also underwent heartworm treatment last year & is now HW-. Despite all of that, he is a happy fun-loving kind of dog. When it comes to other dogs, Bubba tends to give what he gets so if you have another dog you'd like him to live with, a meet & greet is required.

To start the adoption process for the tennis ball CHAMP please head to wagontailsfarm.org/adopt
