ADOPTION PENDING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Meet Bubba, an incredibly sweet 1-year-old pure bred Treeing Walker Coonhound that<br/>had fallen on rough times. Bubba came to us horribly thin and with a<br/>bullet hole in his hindquarters. Unfortunately we see this from time to<br/>time - if a hunting dog won't hunt, the hunter will sometimes shoot the<br/>dog, and we think this may have happened to Bubba. No dog deserves that<br/>kind of treatment, but it's even harder to understand when the dog is as<br/>gentle and wonderful as Bubba is. Bubba has had surgery to<br/>repair not only the bullet wound, but also a hernia. He gets along<br/>great with other dogs, is afraid of cats, and LOVES children and adults<br/>alike. Treeing Walker Coonhounds are not a well-known breed in the<br/>Northern United States, but we've rescued several from down South, and<br/>we've found that they are unfailingly sweet, obedient, and have one of<br/>the best temperaments around - in short, they make perfect family dogs.<br/>Bubba is healing nicely from his surgeries, is getting lots of good food<br/>and is putting on weight, and is ready to find a loving home that will<br/>appreciate the amazing dog that he is. Bubba has been neutered, is<br/>up-to-date on shots, is heartworm negative, and is housetrained. We have just started working on some basic commands, as we wanted to give Bubba time to heal.He is responding well as he will do anything for food.
