Update: BuBu has now been in rescue for almost 2 years. The best word we have heard to describe his personality is " passionate". While in a crate, he can be a bit intimidating, but once he is out and you get on his level, he opens up and is very loving. BuBu is not going to be an easy dog because of some triggers that we are still trying to determine. He is quick to love most people and will settle in their lap and offer kisses, MANY kisses! <br/> <br/>The kissy photo is not his foster mom. He had just met that young lady and she agreed to let us use her photo to showcase how sweet he can be!<br/><br/>Bu Bu Was a trailer park stray for an unknown amount of time so we do not know what he had endured. Would not be the best fit in a home with lots of visitors as he can be "judgey" with new people! He seems to like kids but needs to be closely supervised when meeting them!<br/><br/>WE ADOPT LOCALLY WITHIN A 2 HOUR RADIUS OF THE TRICOUNTY AREA. ***Exceptions may be made for seniors or hard to place dogs. <br/><br/>If the animal is under the age of 3 years old or has health issues, a vet reference is required which means you must own a pet or have owned a pet in your name.<br/><br/>Adoption fee of $ 365 covers all vetting including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip heartworm test and treatment if needed and any other medical that may be required while in rescue. <br/><br/>We only do adoptions on Saturday and not all animals are able to attend so if you would like to see a specific animal please let us know so that we can make arrangements for it to be present at the event. Event locations do vary so please check the homepage to find out where we will be this week. Please do not ask us to reduce adoption fees since all fees help us to cover medical expenses for all of our animals, some of which can be very expensive.
