This beautiful pit bull mix has a calm, dignified presence but still loves to play and explore like a pup at heart. She's ready to spend her golden years with a family who will treasure her.

Who is Brynlee? Brynlee is affectionate, active, and people focused. She waits patiently at her kennel gate, then trots out happily, eager to sniff her way through every adventure. She zigzags a bit on leash, but she listens well to gentle redirection and thrives with calm guidance. She can startle at unfamiliar things (umbrellas, canes), but she recovers quickly with reassurance. She enjoys attention but also knows when she's had enough and will politely walk away-this lady has boundaries and carries herself with quiet dignity.

Some of her favorite things include:
- Playing fetch with plush toys and tennis balls
- Exploring outdoors and following her nose
- Soaking up affection from her people
- Running around in playful bursts, then resting at your side

Brynlee Would Do Best In a Home That Offers:
- Gentle kids around 6+ (case by case)
- Careful introductions with other dogs
- Patience, structure, and love to help her feel secure
- A balance of playtime and relaxation

The best part? Brynlee has lived with cats before-so with proper introductions, she may do well in a multi-pet home. Those soft, dark eyes say it all. Brynlee is a loving, dignified soul who's ready for a family to adore her.

---

Condensed Staff Assessment Notes: Brynlee is a sweet and active older girl who loves being around people and exploring. Although eager to leave her kennel, she stayed composed at the gate. While walking, she often zigzagged to investigate different scents and occasionally pulled on the leash, but she was manageable.

She listened attentively when I redirected her from the counter. She startled easily at everyday objects, especially with the cane and umbrella, but she was able to recover with appropriate handling.

During husbandry handling, Brynlee enjoyed attention and walked away when she was done. She loved to play, running around happily. While she was unsure about the squeaker toy, she preferred fetching the plush toy and tennis ball. She played tug-of-war with the rope but quickly lost interest. Brynlee was excited to meet new people but showed stress when approaching another dog, we recommend multiple meetings to help her acclimate.

If interested in a pet at the Lycoming County SPCA, please fill out an adoption application. The application is available on our website: lycomingspca.org. We may require additional steps in our process such as a home visit, permission from parents, or other additional requests. We appreciate your patience as we complete your adoption. Before adding a new member to your family, please consider the following: Many pets live 10 to 15 years. How old will you be? How old will your children be? Is there a chance you could move in the next 10 years? Are you willing to restrict your choice of housing to accommodate a pet? If the pet is for a child are you willing to assume the care of the pet? Children must have parental guidance to care for a pet regardless of their age. Each breed of animal has genetic characteristics that need to be considered. Have you researched the breed that you are interested in? Are you financially prepared for a pet? Consider the following expenses: spaying or neutering, basic veterinary care, flea preventative, heart worm preventative, license, food, grooming.
