Brutus! Sweetest mushy extra big boy!

Hello everyone! Meet Brutus! Brutus is a 9 year old mastiff we took from a very crowded shelter who needed to open kennels. We don’t typically spring for the big dogs but after the shelter exhausted all large breed rescues which were sadly full, it was hard not to take a look at his amazing smile and his beautiful bright eyes and not welcome him in, so we did just that. His foster family said he is absolutely excellent with his house manners. He weighed 125 pounds when we neutered him and while he may be a senior he sure doesn’t exude that attitude. He is bright and full of life. Brutus is very intelligent, a total slobber box, excellent with the 11 year old kiddo in the home, all of the dogs, and completely ignores the kitties. He does require one small treat to get him in his crate but that’s pretty typical to be slightly stubborn at this size HAHA.
