I'm Brutus! <br/><br/>I'm a 1 year old, 59 lb Boxer/APBT mix with a handsome face and a big, happy personality to match!<br/><br/>I came to the shelter because my owner joined the military and could no longer keep me. Now I'm just waiting for my next family to come along.<br/><br/>I'm a friendly and social guy. I love meeting people and getting attention!<br/><br/>Here's a little more about me:<br/> Playful and full of energy<br/> Crate trained<br/> Mostly potty trained<br/><br/>I've lived with a cat before, but I'll be honest... I like to play rough and like to chase them when they run. Because of that, I'd probably do best without them or living with a playful or confident cat who won't mind telling me to knock it off.<br/><br/>I seem to do well with other dogs and we expect I'd do just fine with respectful kids too.<br/><br/> <br/><br/>Since I'm still young, I'm learning my manners. Sometimes when I get excited, I might jump up to say hello. I'm not trying to be rude... I just get really happy to see people! With a little guidance and consistency, I'll have that figured out in no time.<br/><br/>I'm also mostly potty trained. I've had the occasional accident, but with a regular routine and a little patience, I'll catch on quickly.<br/><br/>What would make me happiest?<br/><br/> A home with a big yard to run and play<br/> Daily walks and exercise<br/> Fun activities and mental stimulation<br/> A family willing to keep teaching me the ropes<br/><br/>I'm still a young dog, which means I'm adaptable, eager to learn, and full of potential. With the right family by my side, I'm going to be the bestest boy! Now all I need is someone willing to give me the chance to prove it!<br/><br/> <br/><br/>Neutered, microchipped, Heartworm & Lyme Negative, current on vaccines and on monthly prevention. Please allow 24-36 hours for a response. If approved, we will contact you to schedule a meet & greet! Any other dogs in the home must come along and some dogs may require all family members to come as well!
