Hi!!! I’m Brutus, 118 lbs of beautiful Great Dane. I am approximately 2 years old and I am truly a gentle giant. I didn't have a great start in life, but my future is looking bright. I currently live with 2 dogs in my foster home and we get along great! I have not been exposed to cats. My foster siblings are even acting better because of my great presence. I sleep through the night, I am housebroken and I know basic commands. My foster parents say I'm a really smart guy and they think I know way more than I have even let on yet! I am a big boy, so exercise and space for me is key. I would probably not be best suited for apartment or condo living. I would make a great addition to almost any household. Brutusr’s adoption fee is $350. Congratulations on deciding to rescue an animal in need. Everything we do for these animals is based on helping them find a great forever home and we are excited for the lucky animal that you will welcome into your home. Requirements for Adoption *You must be over 21 to adopt *You must fill out either a Cat Adoption Application or a Dog Adoption Application *All resident animals must be up to date on shots and have been altered (or a vet letter as to why they are not altered). *All members of the household must be in agreement to adopt an animal. *All members of the household are required to be at the meet and greet prior to final adoption. *You are required to have your animal spayed or neutered per IL state Law. Failure to do so will result in the relinquishment of your animal back to HWMAR. ** ** PER IL STATE LAW (225 ILCS 605/3.3), you are REQUIRED to have your animal spayed or neutered within 14 days of being deemed healthy by a licensed veterinarian. This is Non-Negotiable.
