Don’t let his size fool you—Brutus is truly a big baby wrapped in fur. He came to the shelter as a puppy and was sadly returned when his family didn’t expect him to grow into, well… Brutus-sized. But this lovable Scooby‑look‑alike never let that dull his shine.

This toy‑obsessed goofball lives for playtime. Balls, squeakies, plushies—you name it, he’ll proudly carry it around like his prize treasure. And if you’re impressed easily? Perfect. Brutus LOVES showing off his favorites.
He’s a total social butterfly and has a blast romping around with other dogs. Playgroups? Yes please. Friends? Even better. Toys in playgroups? Peak happiness.

Brutus is also very clear about one thing:
👉 He knows his name.
👉 He loves his name.
👉 He would like to keep his name.
(We respect the king’s wishes.)

All Brutus wants now is a loving, active family with a fenced yard where he can zoom, play, trot with his toys, and hang out with his humans. He cannot wait to bring laughter, cuddles, and some serious ear‑flop action into his forever home.
If you’re ready for joy, goofiness, loyalty, and a whole lot of love, apply now and make Brutus your new best buddy.

Scooby‑fans, gentle‑giant lovers, and toy collectors—your dog has arrived.

If interested in Brutus, please apply online: ADOPTION APPLICATION or email us at Info.FetchingHeartsRescue@gmail.com.

Unless otherwise indicated, all dogs adopted through Fetching Hearts have received the following before being available for adoption:

Thorough veterinary examination.
All routine annual vaccinations, including
Rabies, DHLPP
Bordetella (Kennel Cough)
Heartworm Test
Fecal Test, Deworming
Microchip
Flea and Tick Prevention
Heartworm Prevention.
Spay/Neuter
All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease.

VETTING NOTE: Fetching Hearts Rescue completely vets our dogs thoroughly to the best of our knowledge based on communication with our Southern Vets. If anything is brought to our attention, we treat the dog.
