Unfortunately, Brutus' owner died. We took him in to provide him with a safe place until someone gives him a loving final destination. Brutus was raised around young kids and a female Doberman. He has done well with our female dog. He has not been around cats. <br/><br/>He is a sweet and a chill guy who loves to be around his humans. He enjoys car rides, and walks ( he does wonderfully on a leash). He is highly trainable and enjoys his training time. Brutus will do well with a family. He has a tender heart and wants to please. He does have a stubborn streak once in awhile, but with his willingness to please, he gives in quickly. Brutus tends to be shy, but with patience, he warms up quickly. He enjoys playing fetch and recently discovered tug-of-war. Brutus has gained more confidence while with us. It will be good for Brutus to get more training because he has a lot of potential! This dog has been described by a couple of trainers as a dog you don't give away. Our little dog is old, ill, and is not able to give Brutus the companionship he needs and will thrive with. If you are looking for a Doberman who is able to chill, gives puppy love, and is loyal, Brutus is your guy. <br/><br/>Home check and rehoming fee required to adopt Brutus!
