Bruno's Story

We don’t post about Bruno, no no no, we don’t post about Bruno!

Actually, we’re going to post about Bruno right now.

Bruno is a 3 year old golden retriever looking for a home. But he has a couple of important requirements for that home. For one thing, Bruno has already had 2 surgeries to remove blockages and we want those to be his only surgeries! He’s a chewer so he will need a home with only toys that are safe for him. Toys he can’t easily chew up and swallow.

Bruno’s second requirement for his forever home is that the home needs to not have any young children (9 and under). He’s bigger than he realizes and knocks little kids over but he gets along very well with tweens and up. He also gets along great with other dogs and would enjoy a canine companion as long as that dog doesn’t have any toys Bruno could end up eating.

Bruno’s third requirement is a home that will help him continue learning doggy manners. He loves to be touching his people but hasn’t quite learned that sometimes he can’t be doing that. He has developed a habit of gently tugging on sleeves to get people where he wants them but he’s working on finding better ways to get attention. He is already housebroken, knows how to sit, and he’s very good at going into his crate when it’s time. All you have to do is point and he’ll go right in!

Finally, Bruno needs a home with someone who will give him lots of love and affection. He is a dog who loves to be loved. He wants to be where the people are and he will be still for as long as you want to pet him for. We haven’t yet discovered the upper limit for petting for Bruno. In fact, we’re not sure one exists.

Bruno's adoption fee is $600! This adoption fee includes: his alter, a microchip, his rabies, bordetella, and age appropriate DAPP vaccines, flea/heartworm preventative, and a deworming treatment while in foster care.

If you think he may be perfect for you, please apply using the link below!

https://www.cognitoforms.com/NorthPawRescue/NorthPawRescueDogAdoptionApplication

**Unfortunately, we cannot adopt out to Canada at this time.

**We require a 60 minute adoption radius. This dog is currently being fostered in Churchville, NY.
