Bruno

Bruno is a 2-year-old, 18 lb. Terrier mix who proves that the dog you meet in a stressful environment isn't always the dog you'll get to know at home.<br/><br/>Bruno was adopted in May 2025 and returned when his family moved out of state. Coming back to the shelter was overwhelming, and he became fearful and unsure of the people around him. Once he moved into foster care and had time to decompress, a completely different Bruno emerged!<br/><br/>At home, Bruno is affectionate, loyal, and loves staying close to his person. He does great with other dogs, although he can play a little rough, and his very best friend is Zuko! <br/><br/>Bruno can still be nervous around unfamiliar people and doesn't appreciate strangers immediately reaching out to pet him. He needs someone who will give him a little space, let him settle in, and allow him to build trust at his own pace. Give him that chance, and you'll discover a wonderful little dog underneath those nerves.<br/><br/>And if you have room for two, we'd absolutely LOVE to see Bruno and Zuko go home together-and we'll make you a great deal for adopting this dynamic duo!
