Bruno's Story

All signs point to YES – loving Bruno is the boy for you!

Handsome Bruno is a 4 year old pointer mix and weighs about 75 lbs. Bruno is just the sweetest gentle giant. He is dog and people friendly, with a ¾ tail (previously docked). Bruno is a mellow & goofy guy, appreciative of any pets and snuggles, but has no idea how big he is! He is very loving and his sole purpose is to please his people. He loves running around the yard, soaking up the sun, and being outside in general. He is very happy to supervise any yardwork you are doing and loyally stays by your side while adorably entertaining himself.

Bruno's Story: Sadly, Bruno was found in an apartment, a week after his owner passed away. What was he thinking all those days, hungry, lonely, confused? Needless to say, he did not acclimate well to the chaotic shelter after losing everything he knew and was quickly put on the at-risk for euthanasia list. Thankfully, angels were watching and just knew Bruno deserved a second chance! They opened their hearts & home to him and he is now safe with his fosters. His fosters report that he is a very good boy – at first very sad, very thin, very grateful for any love – but settled in quickly to their pack, getting along with all his foster siblings, big & small dogs alike. Now he has only sunny days ahead while he waits for his forever home.

Bruno is well-behaved, obedient, and all about the love. Bruno is house trained, fully vetted, neutered, micro chipped and ready to go home with you!

If you can open your heart & home to dear Bruno, please call/text AmsterDog at 917-689-9414 or by email at info@amsterdog.org. Apply to adopt Bruno at AmsterDog.org.

Bruno is being fostered in southern New Jersy, but transportation is provided for approved adopters.

Thanks for caring about a pet in need!
