Saving Paws of Caldwell Inc's Adoption Policy
Saving Paws of Caldwell will be moving to their new location by the end of Summer 2020. The new facility will be small but more sanitary with indoor and outdoor areas for the dogs. There will also be 4 play yards for the dogs to get exercise. Due to the new facility being smaller we are seeking good homes for our dogs with a waived adoption fee for those that qualify. Saving Paws of Caldwell will spay/neuter all adopted animals as required by law. You will receive a certificate to take your adopted pet to get them spayed/neutered if they are not already.  Our adoption fees are $80.00 which includes spay/neuter and up to date on shots or first set of shots on young dogs and a micro chip.  We require a fenced yard for their safety. Some exceptions will be made. Our SVT program allows Seniors, Veterans and those needing Therapy Dogs to adopt a mature dog from our shelter that has been spayed/neutered with no adoption fee.   We also waive the adoption fee for those on active duty in the military living on a base for certain pets. SPC (Saving Paws of Caldwell, Inc.) has a shelter located beside the Caldwell Correctional Center in Clarks Louisiana. The address to that facility is 671 Hwy 845, Grayson, LA. The hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
