Bruiser's Story

Bruiser is the most perfect dog in the world. Seriously. When I was filling out all of his positive traits for his bio, I selected them all! He is loving, sweet, kind, curious, playful, brave, protective, quiet, and smart. Bruiser is the dog that gets introduced to new dogs first because he makes them feel at ease. He also makes humans feel at ease and comfortable getting to know him. There is absolutely nothing negative to say about Bruiser. He is perfect.

Bruiser is approximately 6 years old. He was found on the streets of a small Texas town following his new girlfriend and a couple of other small male dogs. All of them were arrested for inappropriate activity and taken to the pound. Bruiser spent a couple of days thinking about his sins before he was finally rescued and taken to a foster home. He was neutered soon afterward. Bruiser is house trained, crate trained, and leash trained. He walks wonderfully in a leash and keeps pace with the human. He is usually walked by the youngest member of his foster family, a 5 year old little girl.

Bruiser likes attention, and he seeks it by sitting up on his back legs like a perfect little gentleman and waiting to be noticed. He isn’t a barker, but does occasionally say “ah-wooooo” just to let everyone know that he is the cutest dog in the world.

Would you be interested in meeting Bruiser? He is looking for a forever family with whom home can grow old snuggling on the couch. He doesn’t want to ever have to move from his home again. If you think your family is the right one for Bruiser, please fill out the application at the following link and a volunteer will reach out to you.

https://form.jotform.com/210400377853148
