Bruin #4's Story
🐾 HOW TO ADOPT: The fastest way to start is to submit an adoption application directly (labs4rescue.com/adopt). Please use our official website rather than the Petfinder "Start your Inquiry" button.

Bruin #4 is a 2-year-old purebred chocolate male Labrador Retriever, weighing 55 pounds of pure sweetness. And when we say sweet, we truly mean it—this boy is as gentle and loving as they come. He enjoys snuggling up, watching TV, and even relaxing to music with his people. Bruin gets along well with other dogs and does nicely with children ages 5 and up. He walks fairly well on leash and would just benefit from a little light fine-tuning. He hasn’t had much exposure to water yet, so we’re not sure about his swimming skills—but like most Labs, he’ll likely take to it with a little encouragement.

This incredibly sweet boy has unfortunately found himself in the unexpected position of needing a new home. He’s ready to bring love, companionship, and plenty of cuddles to a family who will cherish him. Bruin would do best in a home with a fenced yard so he can run and play with the kids.

QUESTIONS: For additional information about Bruin #4 please email Ann Hilchey: ann.hilchey@labs4rescue.org

Bruin #4 is being fostered in Connecticut.

BEFORE YOU APPLY: Please review our "Adopt a Lab" page (labs4rescue.com/adopt) and our Sample Adoption Contract.
