Bruce's Story

Hi my name is Bruce, and I'm about three years old. If you’re looking for a daily dose of pure happiness, I’m your guy! My foster family says I am a 'sweetie pie' who just wants to be close to my people. Whether we’re snuggling on the couch or heading out for a walk, I’m just thrilled to be invited. I get along with every dog and person I meet, and I’m even a fan of cats! I am a dream on a leash and I absolutely live for car rides. What can I say, I am the perfect perfect package! As a typical Husky, I love adventure, but I also know how to settle down for a good snack (preferably bones to keep me entertained). I’m a smart boy who catches on quick—my trainer and I have been working on my 'excited jumping,' and I’m getting better every day! I’m looking for a family who will help me stay fit and healthy with good food and regular check-ups. In return, I promise to be the most loyal, snuggly, and enthusiastic companion you’ve ever had!! All Arctic Rescue dogs are marked “yes” to “Needs Experienced Adopter”. This is because Northern Breeds typically have higher exercise, training, and care requirements than others. We recommend thoroughly researching the breed before pursuing adoption, if you do not have prior experience.

Arctic Rescue's Adoption Policy
HOW OUR ADOPTIONS WORK: 1) We require all adopters to fill out an online application at: https://www.arcticrescue.com/adopt 2) We are a Utah-based rescue. All potential adopters must come to Utah and meet the dogs. We do not transport dogs. 3) We want to make sure that your home is the perfect fit for one of our dogs and vice versa. We want all members of the family to be happy and well matched with each-other, so require families to do a phone interview, reference checks, meet dogs and pass a home-inspection before adoption.
