Bruce's Story
Meet Bruce

Bruce is a terrier mix with a story that will absolutely steal your heart. He's a double amputee, so he uses his two strong front legs and a wheelchair to get around-and let me tell you... this boy does not let anything slow him down.

Bruce is crate trained and currently working on house training as he continues learning how to navigate life in his new body. And wow, has he come a long way. Over the past couple months, he has made incredible progress-he's even starting to balance impressively on his front legs! Watching him figure things out and grow more confident every day is something really special.

But what truly makes Bruce unforgettable isn't just his resilience-it's his heart. This boy LOVES love. Chin scratches, gentle pets, cozy snuggles, and just being close to his people? That's his whole world. He wants nothing more than to follow you around and be your little shadow.

Bruce has a big personality and so much joy for life. You can see it in the way he moves, the way he lights up around his people, and how excited he gets about the world around him. He's great with kids and does well with other dogs, though he may be a little shy with men and larger dogs at first. Give him a little time, and he warms up beautifully.

Bruce will go home with his wheelchair, which he'll use for the rest of his life-but don't worry, he's already a pro and surprisingly fast when he gets going!

Bruce is currently fostered in La Crosse, Wisconsin, and he's looking for a patient, loving family who will continue to cheer him on and give him all the love he so deeply deserves.

To apply to adopt, visit tailsofhopewi.org
Please note donations using the SPONSOR ME tab on PetFinder will not go to Tails of Hope-WI.
