BROWNIE's Story
Brownie- Golden Years, Gentle Soul
Brownie looks like a dog who once had a home—and a whole lot of love. Now, in his golden years, he’s finding himself starting over, a little older, a little heavier, and hoping for one more chance at comfort and belonging.

This gentle senior is an easygoing companion who enjoys a nice walk at his own pace. He may have a slight pull on leash, but nothing too demanding—unless a squirrel catches his eye and reminds him he’s still got a little spark left. He knows “sit,” enjoys the occasional treat, and is currently living with a puppy, showing he still has patience and a kind heart.

Brownie would benefit from shedding a few pounds, but more than anything, he’s ready to trade in shelter life for soft blankets, quiet days, and a cozy couch to call his own. He doesn’t need much—just a loving home where he can finally relax and be someone’s good boy again.

If you have room in your heart for a sweet senior who deserves a peaceful retirement, Brownie is waiting to spend his golden years right by your side.

Brownie has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in his new home. Looking for a buddy for your dog? Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we're a match! Check out his playgroup video here:

To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm.
