Brownie currently weighs 18lbs and her ideal healthy weight would be 12lbs.<br/><br/>You see, Brownie came into rescue pregnant and has had a hard time shaking off those postpartum pounds! We feel you girl! She is working hard on losing weight with us but will need a willing adopter to help her continue on her weight loss journey! <br/><br/>Brownie is a mellow girl, couch potato kinda vibe, loves to cuddle, loves to sleep in bed with her foster mom. She isn’t the biggest fan of men. It will take Brownie quite awhile adjusting to a new home. She will need time, love, and lots of reassurance. But once she has accepted her new family it is the most rewarding thing! She has lots of love and cuddles to give! <br/><br/>Brownie is still working on her house training, isn’t the biggest fan of the leash, and is not crated in her foster home. Brownie lives with dogs of all ages and sizes, doesn’t mind cats, and will do fine with older children who respect boundaries. <br/><br/>She will require a SECURE fenced in yard. No doggie doors or electric fencing please! <br/><br/>Adoption fee of $400 includes: <br/>-yearly vaccine <br/>-bortedella vaccine <br/>-rabies vaccine <br/>-spayed <br/>-parasite treated and tested <br/>-microchipped <br/>-heart worm tested NEGATIVE <br/>-up to date on monthly flea, tick, and heart worm prevention <br/><br/>TWO free training sessions are also included in this fee. One of our fosters is a certified dog trainer specializing in canine behavior. Canine Pawsabilities's Adoption Policy
Applications are always accepted. Please be patient with response times as we are ran by volunteers and all have lives, jobs, family outside of rescue. We normally will reach out by the Wednesday after the application is received if your application is chosen to set up a meet and greet/home check. Each dogs information section as well as the application will request “attachments” re:photos of your home and yard-everywhere the dog has access to be sent separate to our email caninepawsabilitiessc@gmail.com in addition to a completed application. The link to the application can be found at the bottom of each pets information section. We are not responsible for contacting the applicant to remind them to include all information requested. We truly care about each and every one of our animals. We throughly vet potential homes to ensure they are the best fit for the animals needs/ personality and that the adoption will be a forever home. Please ensure you are very detailed and honest on your application, this way it will be so much easier to make sure your potential new best friend is a match made in fur heaven! If there are any other questions/concerns needed we will address them and discuss where we are in the adoption process.
