Brownie's Story

Brownie was surrendered to us when his owner was losing his housing. He is a very sweet little guy, who is quick to seek out belly rubs. He likes his walks and will surely make an excellent couch companion as well. He seems to like other dogs, and could likely live with a cat as well.

We have no idea what breed he is. Someone mentioned he looked like a Corgi. Sure, why not! Another person said he looked like a mini German Shepherd. Whatever you say, boss! Whatever his breed, he is a super cute, friendly fellow. Maybe he'll be your very own mystery mix! Apply today!

Scituate Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy
Our Adoption Process Please note our adoption application process is not on a first come, first serve basis. When you first arrive at our shelter, you will be asked to fill out a brief survey, which helps us to find the right pet for you. Our adoption counselors act as “matchmakers” and will work with you to find the right match - for both you and the animal - based on the information you have given us. If you don't find a match right away, we will hold your survey on file for several months while you continue your search.
