Meet Brownie! 🐾<br/>Brownie is a beautiful 1-year-old, 51-lb female Standard Poodle who is getting a well-deserved second chance at life thanks to Underdog Rescue. She came to us after living outdoors and being severely matted, requiring a full shave-down. While her coat is short right now, it’s already clear that she is going to be absolutely stunning as it grows back in.<br/><br/>Brownie is fully spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and heartworm tested. She did arrive with ear infections, which are currently being successfully treated.<br/><br/>We believe Brownie would thrive best as the one and only queen of her castle. Her foster is working on leash training, and having a fenced yard has been very helpful for her confidence and exercise needs. She is an absolute love bug with her foster mom and truly craves affection, attention, and companionship. Brownie is also very good with children, making her a wonderful family companion.<br/><br/>As a Standard Poodle, Brownie will require professional grooming every six weeks and daily exercise to keep her happy and healthy. A home where someone is around often—especially a work-from-home household—would be ideal, as continued training and socialization will help her shine. Poodles are highly intelligent, and Brownie is already showing how quickly she learns.<br/><br/>Brownie is looking for a forever family who will snuggle her, play with her, continue her training, and give her the love and attention she deserves.
