Brownie's Story

FOREVER HOME NEEDED (currently in foster care)
Meet Brownie!
Brownie is an 11-month-old, approximately 55–60 lb Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull mix who is thriving in foster care and showing everyone what a sweet, goofy boy he is! He’s a happy, lovable, derpy guy who really wants to make his people happy.

Brownie is affectionate and loves being close to his humans. He’ll happily follow you around the house, curl up beside you on the couch, or occasionally try to convince you he’s a lap dog! He has the sweetest way of looking at his people that makes it pretty hard not to fall in love with him.

He’s house trained, is learning to feel comfortable in his crate, and sleeps well through the night. He’s also working on his basic manners and training. He has sit mastered and is now learning down! His leash skills are also improving and he’s getting much better about not pulling on walks.

Brownie has a playful, goofy side that is so fun to watch. He loves his chew toys, especially his blue duck, which he proudly carries around the backyard and tosses into the air. When the zoomies hit, this boy can really move! He’s a strong, athletic pup who would love a home that enjoys daily walks, playtime, and adventures.

Brownie loves other dogs and would be thrilled to have a playful, compatible canine companion to share his home and adventures with. He could also do well as an only dog with a family committed to keeping him well socialized and providing plenty of opportunities for doggy playdates.

Brownie is a sweet, affectionate dog who is eager to learn, eager to please, and ready to give his whole heart to his new family. If you’re looking for a loving companion with a goofy personality and plenty of cuddles to give, Brownie could be your guy!

Brownie is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $550.
