Brownie's Story
Brownie – Big Heart, Big Energy, Big Love

Brownie is an incredibly sweet girl who hasn’t had the easiest start. She was sadly abandoned by her family and came to us still wearing her cone after being hit by a car and treated by a vet. Thankfully, she has healed beautifully — and you’d never know what she went through because this girl runs, plays, and chases toys like nothing ever happened.

Brownie is about 70 pounds, strong, silly, and FULL of life. She absolutely loves other dogs and would make a great playmate for another large dog. Because she never had anyone to teach her manners, she’s still learning that she’s a big girl. Brownie can jump, she gets excited, and she sometimes forgets her size — but she is not trying to be rough or bad. She just needs a family who understands that she’s still learning and will be patient, consistent, and kind with her.

The good news? She is learning FAST. She takes treats gently, listens well, and really wants to please. She is a happy, affectionate girl who just needs guidance, structure, and someone who won’t give up on her again.

Brownie will thrive with an active family who understands large dogs and can help her continue learning good manners. In return, she’ll give endless love, laughter, and loyalty. She’s ready for the forever family she’s always deserved.

Brownie has tested heartworm positive, but she is not coughing or showing obvious symptoms at this time. She will need a family who can keep her on heartworm prevention, work with their veterinarian, and make sure she has regular checkups to monitor her health. Brownie deserves someone who will help her continue healing and give her the happy life she has missed out on before.

Brownie is located in Gainesville, TX, but we offer transportation services all over the U.S.
If you’d like to learn more about Brownie, call us anytime at 940-665-9800.
