Brownie's Story
Meet Brownie, an 8-year-old lab and border collie mix who's overweight at 77 lbs. Her family recently moved, and she'd been having accidents in the new home, so she was surrendered to us due to a lack of time. She's affectionate, playful, mellow, not very active, and very social! She's lived with a cat, whom she was curious about, as well as young children, whom she was very gentle with! She likes pets, tug-o-war, roughhousing, and playing fetch! She's used to having a doggy door, which the new home unfortunately did not have, hence the accidents. She also hasn't been kenneled much, but reportedly does fine when placed in one. She will go to the door when she needs to go outside. Her ideal home would have an attentive owner willing to give her love and time. Come visit Brownie today! ...
