Brownie's Story
Brewing Up a Fresh Start:
Adopt Brownie!

2 years old | 28 lbs | Poodle

Brownie was pulled from the euthanasia list at a Yonkers, NY shelter and given the second chance he deserved. Now he’s ready for the next chapter with the right person by his side.

He’s a smart, loyal boy who bonds deeply with his human. Like many dogs who’ve had an uncertain start, Brownie can get a little mouthy when overstimulated or excited. With structure, consistency, and clear boundaries, he responds beautifully and continues to make steady progress.

Brownie would do best in an adult only home with a dog savvy owner who appreciates leadership, routine, and ongoing training. In return, he’ll offer true devotion, companionship, and that sweet, sensitive poodle nature once he feels safe. He gets along with other dogs, but would do best in a calm home with maybe 1 other dog (also on the calmer side).

We’re not looking for just any placement. We’re looking for the person who understands him and is ready to help him keep moving forward.

For more info on Brownie:

📞Brittany (203) 520-7572

Contact @pound_puppy_refuge on IG
