Brothers and Overachievers's Story

Jake and Jesse are one-year-old brothers who were pulled from Navajo Nation Animal Control prior to the weekly euthanasia that all impounded animals are subject to each Friday.

Despite different personalities and the differing ways in which they each excel, the boys are great friends and companions, and they have both worked hard to become exceptionally well-mannered family members who can self-manage and make good decisions, whether they are out hiking off-leash or having breakfast with you on a busy patio of your favorite restaurant. They have received great nutrition, lots of exercise in many environments while being allowed to be a dog, and of course formal instruction to reach benchmarks that highlight their individual personalities.

Jake is athletically gifted and exceptionally smart. He achieved the AKC Intermediate Trick Dog title, which may be entertaining for the neighborhood parties, but more importantly really dialed in his eagerness to please, to focus, follow directions, and do the right thing. More can be learned about Jake at this Petfinder listing: https://www.petfinder.com/dog/jake-akc-intermediate-trick-dog-63830695/az/cottonwood/big-luck-club-az679/

Jess is really laid back and lives to be loved on, making him a great candidate for therapy work. He passed the multiple-part Pet Partners therapy dog evaluation on his first attempt, and as a one-year-old still mentally developing, this is quite an achievement which highlights his poise, temperament, and willingness to follow directions when in challenging and high distraction environments.
