Brooke

A purebred German wirehaired pointer, Brooke was picked up by a rural animal control officer and never reclaimed by her previous owners. She is about 2 or 3 years old, microchipped, spayed, heartworm-negative, up-to-date on shots and strikingly beautiful.<br/><br/>Brooke seems to have had limited experiences and can be nervous in new surroundings, but she is learning new things every day and expanding her comfort zone. Totally housebroken, Brooke can be trusted in the home while her foster dad works. While she is a little uncomfortable meeting new dogs, she has shown no aggression to the dogs she has encountered and is living amicably with her foster dad’s dog. She doesn’t like being put in the crate, but sometimes she just wanders into it and looks around.<br/><br/>She has a great wagging tail, and as she gains comfort in new surroundings, it goes a lot and fast!
