Bronx's Story

This little 13 year old 13 lbs sweetheart is living proof that the best things come in small, cuddly packages. Bronx is a calm, loving, and easygoing senior who asks for very little — just your lap, your company, and maybe a sunny spot to snooze in. He's the definition of a velcro dog: wherever you go, Bronx goes, padding along at your heels like your most devoted shadow.

Bronx is deaf and has limited eyesight, but you'd barely know it — nothing seems to faze him. He strolls through walks with total zen energy, greets you with wiggly joy when you come home, and will happily curl up on your chest and fall fast asleep. Not a mean bone in his tiny body.

He's a dream on the leash, loves car rides, and gets along beautifully with other dogs. He's gentle, non-pushy at mealtimes, and allows all handling without complaint. While he doesn't quite understand what toys are yet, he has mastered the art of napping on dog beds, laps, and anywhere warm.

Bronx does best with an attentive owner who can watch for his potty cues, and a doggie door would be a wonderful bonus. He sleeps soundly through the night and only voices his opinion occasionally — a little whine at bedtime or a bark for newcomers, though any "guarding" melts away quickly.

If you're looking for a gentle, devoted companion to share your couch and your heart, Bronx is your guy
