Bronx's Story
This 11-month-old mixed breed is a fun-loving, high-energy pup who’s ready to take on the world by your side! Bronx greets life with a loose, wiggly body and lots of enthusiasm—he’s the kind of dog who’s always excited to see you and isn’t shy about showing it. He’s a smart boy who already knows “sit” and responds well to cues, making him a great candidate for continued training. Bronx is easy to leash and eager to get out and explore, though he can pull when he’s excited. Once he gets a chance to sniff and settle in, he’s able to slow down and enjoy his surroundings. Like many young dogs, Bronx can get a bit over-aroused when he’s really excited. He loves to zoom around the yard, and during those high-energy moments he may jump up or grab at the leash—but with a little time and redirection, he’s able to settle and refocus. Inside, he shows a calmer side, happily engaging with enrichment like a lick mat and leaning into affection once he’s had a chance to decompress.

Bronx has shown social interest in other dogs, though he can get a little frustrated or overstimulated in close or repeated interactions. Because of this, he would do best with slow introductions and guidance to help him build positive dog-to-dog skills. Overall, Bronx is a bright, playful adolescent who just needs structure, outlets for his energy, and a patient adopter to help him continue learning. If you’re looking for a goofy, affectionate companion who will keep you active and entertained, Bronx might be your perfect match!
