Bronson's Story

Purebred rottweiler I believe but someone stole his diamonds! The markings on his face are very faint too. Good with people but very reserved when you meet him. Once he gets to know you he loves to cuddle. Knows his basic obedience and walks well on a leash with a training collar. He is well behaved and we enjoy having him around. He does not get into things he shouldn't. He is highly food motivated. All of our dogs would benefit from ongoing training.

he seems to be good with any dog that is nice to him. He really likes the lady dogs the best though. Cats are unknown. He did well around the children that he has met and spent time with. We recommend older children for him to live with though. Bronson does not like it when people he does not yet know or trust to lean over him, especially to pet him. The best way to win his trust is to not put much pressure on him when building your relationship with him. Basically ignore him for a week or two, (as far as showing him affection) and take on lots of structured walks. Once he trusts you, can cuddle with him all you want. Should you try to cuddle with him before he is ready he might growl at you and bark in your face. He has never bitten anyone. He is one handsome boy! He seems to enjoy water. Will get into the pool on the baha step on his own, loves getting a bath. Loves his toys. Loves to play with female dogs and is okay hanging with the boys too. He doesn't bark at things he shouldn't, and over all he is kinda lazy. He would be a very happy boy if he could just hang out with his owner all day. He does not demand a lot of exercise. His favorite thing to do here is to put his big head in my lap and have me rub his ears and pet him.

Our Adoption Process... If you are interested in adopting one of our fun loving not so rotten rotties, you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire that will allows us to get to know you better and to make sure the dog you are looking at is a good fit for your family and lifestyle. You can access our questionnaire by going to our website, www.rottenrottie.com click on the forms tab, and fill out the questionnaire and submit it online. After we review your answers, if we feel that the dog that you are interested in, is not a good fit for you and your family, we may recommend a different rottweiler companion. After we determine which Rottweiler(s) is the best for you, we will set up a time so that you can meet him or her at their house, where they will feel most comfortable and act as they normally do. We will require a home check to make sure the dog is going to a good home. An adoption contract will be signed to finalize the adoption and we do ask for a rehoming fee of $500 for most adults, $350 for most of our seniors 6 years and above for any rottweiler mix of any age (except puppies) . Our fees for puppies fluctuate depending on how much we had to invest into them or their litter, and weather they are purebred or a mix. These funds are necessary so that our organization may continue to rehome rottweilers. ALL of our dogs are sterilized, fully vaccinated and microchipped, heartworm tested negative and come with a collar and a leash. We have also addressed any injury or illness that they had when they came to us, or received in foster care. These problems will be disclosed to the adopter prior to adoption.

please be advised that in almost all cases we will not adopt our dogs to folks who live in different states. On rare occasion, if we feel that it is a PERFECT for both you and the dog, we sometimes will break that rule for our neighbors who live in Las Vegas. If you live in Vegas and would like us to consider you, please fill out an application.

Our Mission
We are a small rescue group consisting of 5 directors and only a handful of volunteers. We became a corporation in November 2011, and it is our goal to save as many purebred Rottweilers as we can from being euthanized or becoming homeless. We are looking for foster homes and, of course, donations are a large factor that p...
