Bronco's Story

Meet Bronco! He arrived at the shelter as a stray and he is about 3 years old. He has been neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated.

Bronco is a quiet soul with a gentle heart. He arrived at the shelter unsure of the world around him and is still learning what it means to feel safe. At first, he can be shy and reserved, taking his time to observe and understand new people and situations. But beneath that cautious exterior is a deeply sweet dog who just needs a little patience and kindness to truly shine. The shelter environment can be overwhelming for Bronco. He much prefers the calm of being outside, where he can relax and enjoy the company of his people at his own pace. Those quiet moments are when you start to see the real Bronco; the one who leans in gently and is learning to trust. He’s still figuring out how to just 'be a dog'—learning how to play, how to let his guard down, and how to embrace the simple joys of life. With a patient and loving home, he has all the potential to blossom into a loyal, affectionate companion.

If you'd like to be Bronco's furever home you can call (540) 778-2101 or email animalshelter@pagecounty.virginia.gov.
