Brody's Story

Meet Brody 💙

Brody came to SPSPCA after a rough start. At just 6 years old, he arrived in poor condition and had to have all but 2 of his teeth removed when he was sent in for a dental. He is currently underweight and needs good nutrition to help him continue gaining strength- but he’s already making progress with love and care. He does eat high-end canned food to help him gain weight.

Despite everything he’s been through, Brody is incredibly sweet. Because he’s been hurt in the past, he can be nervous about being picked up, so a home without small children would be best for him. He enjoys staying cozy and warm in doggie clothes.

Brody loves nothing more than cuddling up for a movie or Texas Tech game, and his favorite place to sleep is curled up next to you in bed. He’s doing well with potty training when taken outside regularly and wears a belly band in the house while learning the ropes of being housetrained. Due to his small size, he should never be left outside without supervision. Brody has never walked to potty on a leash so apartment living for this boy is not an option.

Brody shares a special bond with his grandmother, Sadie, but they can be separated for the right loving family. He’s looking for a calm, patient home where he can feel safe, cherished and adored for the rest of his life.

Brody’s adoption fee is $175 which includes his vaccinations, neuter, microchip, Heartworm negative test and current preventative. He will be at the adoption event this Saturday 11-2 at 8901 Hwy 87 #119. Come early:). You can als email adoptions.spspca@gmail.com with questions.
