Brixton is bright. One of our top students.<br/>He thrives in nosework, crushes agility, and lights up when he has a job to do. He’s a playgroup regular with the high-energy crew and soaks up every minute he gets with volunteers.<br/>And those ears. Those looks. Come on.<br/>Brixton has been waiting patiently for someone to choose him, and he is more than ready for a home of his own. Smart, energetic pups feel shelter life more than most, and we’re hoping he finds his family soon. 🐾✨<br/><br/>Chicago Animal Care and Control is located at 2741 S. Western Ave., Chicago, IL, and is open from 12pm to 7pm daily. Walk-in visitors are welcome and helped on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are planning to adopt the day you visit, please plan to arrive before 5:30pm. Visitors arriving after 5:30pm will still be able to view animals in Pavilions A-B-C until 7pm.<br/><br/>All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers).<br/><br/>We recommend and can arrange dog-to-dog meet and greets for your current dog(s) to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination for your dog(s). Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.
