We’ll have several dogs there looking for homes!<br/><br/>———————<br/><br/>BRITTANY hasn’t had the easiest start, but she’s ready to put all of that behind her. She was found outside in a wire kennel with no food, water, or shelter, suffering from heat exhaustion. With quick help and good care, she’s made a wonderful recovery and is now ready for her happily ever after. <br/><br/>She’s a sweet little lady who loves people and gets along well with other dogs. Brittany enjoys playtime, whether it’s romping around with a buddy or having some fun with toys, and she’s just as happy to settle in for snuggles afterward. She’s crate trained, keeps her space tidy, and has a loving personality that makes her shine.<br/><br/>All Brittany needs now is a family to call her own — one that will love her, play with her, and give her all the cuddles she’s been waiting for. <br/><br/>Brittany is a 2-year-old American Bulldog mix. She has a gorgeous coat and is a compact and roly-poly 47 lbs! <br/><br/><br/>ADOPTING A PET<br/>We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend. Please contact us by phone at 913-321-1445 or by email at petadoptions@kckpd.org to schedule your appointment during weekdays.<br/><br/>If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.<br/><br/>Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).<br/><br/>FOSTERING<br/>Can't commit to adoption but still want to help us save lives?
