The name Bristol means "just about as perfect as you can get"... at least in this case, it does! This brindle beauty is just a joy. She's happy, friendly, social, snuggly and gets along with everyone and everything - other dogs, cats and she previously lived with kids. She knows sit and shake, takes treats gently and is a pro at walking on the leash. Sold yet?<br/><br/>We estimate Bristol is about 4 years old. She's been moonlighting as an office greeter, much to both her delight and everyone who meets her. Everyone is instantly her friend, and while she has pretty calm energy must of the time, she's still playful. For Bristol, cuddles are a must and kisses are non-negotiable. This little lady would fit well in a variety of homes, as long as she's loved and gets to be part of the family. Second Chance Animal Sanctuaries's Adoption Policy
Our adoption process: 1) Fill out an application on our website at www.secondchanceas.org/adopt. Please note that submitting an inquiry through PetFinder or other online listing does not constitute an adoption application. Applications can also be downloaded as a pdf and emailed to secondchanceas@yahoo.com or filled out at the sanctuary any time we're open. 2) We will process your application by calling your veterinarian and personal references. How long this takes depends on how quickly we can reach them. You can help expedite this process by letting them know we'll be calling from the number 570-376-3646. We may also call you to ask additional questions or to share pertinent information about the animal you've applied for. 3) We will inform you of your application's status, usually in a few days to a week. Even if the animal you hoped to adopt goes to another home, you still may be approved to adopt another animal. We attempt to match animals to homes that best fit their personality/needs and vice versa. NOTE: You do not have to apply for a specific animal on your application. You can submit it as a "pre-application" for a certain size, age or breed of animal, and if approved, we can contact you if a possible match arrives at the shelter.
