Meet Brisbane — The Gentle Explorer with Puppy Eyes That’ll Melt You<br/><br/>Brisbane is a gorgeous 3-year-old sweetie with velvety soft ears and a heart ready to heal your soul. This sweet soul came to us underweight at just 38 pounds—he’s now thriving and slowly working his way up to a healthy weight.<br/><br/>He’s the kind of dog who captures hearts. He has many nicknames, including “Goose” (short for silly goose) that he turns around and smiles his Goose smile. <br/><br/>He’s incredibly food-motivated after spending stretches of his life without enough to eat. Despite that, he manages to contain his excitement and wait patiently for his food dish to be set down and a cue given to eat before chowing down. He loves getting extras and gives a deep “I love you” gaze to anyone giving him treats.<br/><br/>After going on a walk and eating some food, he will tuck in, curled up like a cat, for a little snooze fest - he has the most adorable little snore!<br/><br/>When he’s first going out for a walk, he can get excited and hop up for attention but is easily redirected—his foster says he’s a fast learner with a soft spirit and a goofy side. Brisbane sits down on command and walks well on a leash with walker who gives him cues & reminders. He has potential to become a good jogging partner. ,<br/><br/>Brisbane loves his indoor time, adores sitting with his humans, getting pets and curling up on his fluffy bed. He is well house-trained waiting until his human takes him out for his walk or allowing him to run and play in the yard. <br/><br/>He Is good with older children but has had little exposer to toddlers or young children.<br/><br/>Brisbane likes his car rides when he goes out and sees the car he walks right over to it and sits hoping he is going for a car adventure. He is well behaved usually just lying in the back seat<br/><br/>With just a little patience and a lot of love, Brisbane is going to blossom.
