Meet Brisa!<br/><br/>Brisa is a 5 month old Chihuahua mix weighing just 7 pounds, and she’s expected to stay on the smaller side at around 10–12 pounds full grown—perfect for anyone looking for a petite companion. Her momma was only 8/9 pounds. <br/><br/>Originally from Puerto Rico, Brisa made her way to us after we rescued her mom a few months ago—and now it’s her turn to find a forever home of her own. She’s been thriving in foster care and has blossomed into such a sweet, loving little puppy.<br/><br/>Brisa has a gentle, affectionate personality and gets along beautifully with everyone she meets. She’s great with other dogs, does well with cats, and loves her people. She can be a tiny bit shy at first (she is still a baby, after all!), but she warms up quickly and is eager to bond.<br/><br/>She’s already off to a fantastic start with training. Brisa sleeps soundly in her crate at night and sees it as her safe space. She’s doing very well with house training—mostly going outside, with occasional use of pee pads as she continues to learn. She’s also working on leash training and making steady progress each day.<br/><br/>This little girl loves the simple things—like soaking up the sunshine outside—and would be happiest in a home where she can continue to grow, learn, and be included in everyday life.
