Brio's Story

Hi, I'm Brio! I'm a 6 month old male Husky/Shepherd mix (estimated DOB 2/21/26) and I’ll likely grow to be around 35-40 pounds. I know how to use pee pads and can let you know when I need to go outside to potty.

I am full crate trained. I can be in my crate when you do errands during the day. I love sleeping in my crate at night—although sleeping/cuddling next to you would be heaven for me!

My story started with my mama doing everything she could to keep me and my 10 siblings safe. She kept moving us around while searching for food until rescue stepped in and gave us all the fresh start we deserved. Now I’m safe, happy, and ready to find a forever family of my very own.

I’m smart, loving, and confident, with just the right mix of playful puppy energy and cuddly sweetness. I can be cautious but am very affectionate and absolutely love being around my people. One of my favorite things in the whole world is getting cuddles, and Im always happy to soak up as much love as youre willing to give. I also love chasing my orange ball, sunbathing, and playing in the yard with my brother, it’s kind of my specialty.

I’m great with other dogs and do well with kids, too. I haven’t been tested with cats yet, so thats still a mystery. I know how to sit, shake, and lay down. I am currently working on “wait” when my yummy food bowl is in front of me. My foster parents are also teaching me how to walk on a leash.

My ideal home is pretty flexible since I’m still so young and adaptable. I’d likely do well in most loving environments, as long as my family is patient while I continue learning and growing into the amazing dog I am meant to be.
If you’re looking for a sweet, snuggly, and loyal best friend who will happily chase a ball, play with the family, and then curl up for cuddles, I’d love to meet you!

My adoption fee is $550, this fee covers my first year of vaccinations, spay/neuter, and microchip. I am the dog for you! You can fill out an application to adopt me at www.thecantufoundation.org
