To apply to adopt an animal from the Huntingdon County Humane Society, you need to fill out an adoption application. It is required that you provide four references. And, if you do not own the property where you live, we will need the information on how to contact the owner/your landlord. There is a minimum waiting period of 24-48 hours before an adoption is finalized. This works to prevent impulsive adoptions and provides us time to contact references.
