Brindle's Story
Brindle came the county shelter with two housemates, who have since found their forever home. They were surrendered because of an altercation when an unsecured dog strayed into their yard. His two housemates are in families with other dogs and are doing well. Brindle may someday do well with another dog in his family, but for right now, we recommend him as an only dog. After months of "incarceration", he has not changed at all in his zest for life, his love for all the staff and volunteers and his desire to chase the ball for hours on end. There is a softer side to him... He is very good at crawling in your lap if allowed.
"How is he with cats?".... A dog this motivated by moving toys, should probably not be in a family with cats. We also suggest that children in the family be old enough, so they won't be knocked down by an active dog.
He is 4 years old, and active and very happy. He was a celebrity earlier this fall when he was featured in a local magazine for the season opener for the local high school football season. We all want to see Brindle get a home of his very own!

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. BRINDLE IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN KERRVILLE, TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION.
Please fill out an adoption application found at kerrvillepetsalive.org
